The Council of Canada Masters Cricket (CCMC)

The Council of Canada Masters Cricket (CCMC), formerly known as the Cricket Canada Masters Council, is a federally registered, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of seniors’ cricket across Canada. Committed to sustainable growth, responsible funding, and community engagement, CCMC works to provide meaningful opportunities for senior cricketers nationwide.

Officially endorsed by Cricket Canada and a proud member of International Masters Cricket (IMC), CCMC represents Canada on the global stage in masters cricket. The organization upholds the nation’s pride by providing opportunities for senior players to showcase their skills and passion for the game at an international level.

It celebrates camaraderie, friendship, and the enduring spirit of cricket - ensuring that the golden years of players are filled with purpose, teamwork, and joy both on and off the field.

Our Achievements

Hosting International Tournaments

We’ve proudly hosted three major international cricket events, the Tri-Nation Canada Cup in 2021, the Four Nation Canada Cup in 2023, and the Australia-Canada Bilateral ODI Series in 2023 - all organized successfully and enjoyed by players and fans alike.

World Cup Representation

Consistently represented Canada in every IMC age-group World Cup, including Over-40s, Over-50s, Over-60s, and Over-70s tournaments. In 2022, our Over-60s Canadian team reached the IMC World Cup semifinal in Sunshine Coast, Australia, and in 2024, our Over-70s Canadian team achieved a historic #3 position at the inaugural World Cup in London, England.

Collaboration & Partnerships

Through close collaboration with Cricket Canada, local cricket clubs, and all levels of government, we've built strong, respectful relationships that give us access to quality facilities. These partnerships help us offer welcoming programs where seniors can stay active, connect with others, and feel a real sense of belonging - through the shared joy of cricket.

Canada to Host IMC Over-60s World Cup

Most notably, Canada has been awarded the historic honor of hosting the IMC Over- 60s Cricket World Cup for the very first time. This milestone positions CCMC not only as a leader in Canadian masters’ cricket but also as a key contributor to the global cricketing movement.
